#2 Boston College Eagles (7-0) at #8 Virginia Tech Hokies (6-1) -3
This game is a huge ACC match up as the winner can really help their chances of receiving a BCS Bowl bid. This game has national title implications. Boston College can solidify their chances of a National Championship with a victory at Virginia Tech. Hokies QB QB Tyrod Taylor is questionable with an injured ankle.
#1 Ohio State Buckeyes (8-0) at Penn State Nittany Lions (6-2) +4
This is a huge Big Ten match up as the Buckeyes look to remain undefeated and on their national title hopes alive. If Penn State wins they can look forward to a big bowl game but if they lose they will have to settle for any bowl game.
#21 California Golden Bears (5-2) at Arizona State Sun Devils (7-0) -3
This game will show if Arizona State is for real, as not many in the nation believe they are. The Bears are looking to stop the bleeding after 2 losses in a row dropping almost 20 spots in the rankings in the process. If the Bears lose they can kiss a big bowl game goodbye.
#12 USC Trojans (6-1) +2.5 at #5 Oregon Ducks (6-1)
This Pac 10 match up has major BCS implications. If either team loses they can pretty much be assured of not getting in a BCS Bowl game. . USC has not been an underdog against a Pac-10 opponent since Nov. 17, 2001. USC QB John David Booty is questionable with a broken finger.
# 7 West Virginia Mountaineers (6-1) at Rutgers Scarlet Knights (5-2) +6
Rutgers got back on track last week with a victory over then #2 South Florida and looks to take out another top ten team this week. West Virginia needs to win to stay in contention for a BCS Bowl game.
#9 Kansas Jayhawks (7-0) at Texas A&M Aggies (6-2)
This Big 12 match up will show if the undefeated Jayhawks are for real. The Aggies need a victory at home to have any chance at a big bowl game. If Kansas wins they will get some respect and move up in the national polls and improve their chances of getting in their first BCS Bowl game.
