NCAA Betting Report - Week Seven

There was another big week of upsets in college football as the top two teams have both dropped from the ranks of the undefeated. LSU and Cal both lost, as there will be a new number one this week. For the week the best payout percentage went to the home dogs with a payout percentage of 70.59%. The away favorites did not fare well against the spread, including LSU, as their payout percentage was 29.41%. The next two highest payout percentages for the week went to the dogs (57.41%) and away dogs (51.35%). This last week, much like the entire season, the dog bettors are looking good as favorites are failing to cover the spread more than half the time. The favorites are covering straight up (72.22%) but against the spread the dogs bettors are winning the $$ over half of the time. For the Over/Under games for the week there were 29 Over games (53.70%) and 25 Under games (46.30%).

For the season the best payout percentage against the spread is for the home dogs with a payout percentage of 57.66%. The next highest payout percentage against the spread is for dogs bettors with a payout percentage of 52.81%. In fact all the dogs bettors have a payout percentage of over 50% fir the season. Overall against the spread home teams and away is pretty even with home teams having a payout percentage of 51.97% and away teams 48.03%. The Over/Under games were also pretty even as there were 184 Over games (52.57%) and 166 Under games (47.43%).
