NCAA Betting Report - Week Eight

This last week was another one filled with upsets and two more undefeated teams in the top 10 lost, as Kentucky and South Florida both went down. Across the board most of the payout percentages hovered around 50%. The biggest payout percentage against the spread was for the away dogs going 15-13 for a payout percentage of 53.57%. The other two against the spread payout percentages that were over 50% were for the dogs going 27-26 for a payout percentage of 50.94% and the away favorites going 13-12 for a payout percentage of 52.00%. The home field advantage against the spread was not much of an advantage this last week in college football as the away teams came out on top going 28-25 for a payout percentage of 52.83%. Not a high scoring weekend as the Under bettors did well going 34-18 for a payout percentage of 65.38%.
Unlike last week home field has been kind to the home dogs as they have the highest payout percentage of the season as they have gone 76-60 for a payout percentage of 55.88%. The other against the spread for the season bettors going over 50% are both the dogs, going 215-194 for a payout percentage of 52.57%, and the away dogs going 139-134 for a payout percentage of 50.92%. Unlike last week this season has been kind for the home teams against the spread going 210-199 for a payout percentage of 51.34%. For the season the Over/Under games are almost even with Over winning 202 games (50.25%) and Under winning 200 games (49.75%).
