NFL Betting Report - Week 7

This last week in the NFL saw a couple of minor upsets but the big teams such as Dallas, Indianapolis, and New England won big and each covered their spreads. New England and Indianapolis looked dominant in the AFC and the NFC is still up for grabs with Dallas playing well and a resurgent Giants team that has reeled off five straight wins after losing their first two, among a slew of others in the hunt. The biggest payout percentage against the spread last week was totally even across the board as every payout percentage was 50%. The only payout percentage that wasn't 50% was for the Over/Under games as there were Over games, for a payout percentage of 57.14%, and 8 Under games for a payout percentage of 42.86%.

Obviously with all the 50% payout percentages nothing changed from last week in the season against the spread payout percentages. All the dogs bettors are over 50% as the favorites are not playing up to par this season. The highest payout percentage of the season is still for the home dog bettors as they have gone 20-14 for a payout percentage of 58.82%. Right behind the home are the dogs bettors as they have gone 59-44 for a payout percentage of 57.28%for the season. The next highest payout percentage is for the away dogs going 39-30 for a payout percentage of 56.52%. The away teams have a payout percentage of 51.46% going 53 - 50 for the season. In terms of Over/Under games for the season the Over games have won 49 games for a payout percentage of 48.51% and the Under games have won 51 games for a payout percentage of 51.49%.
