NFL Betting Report - Week 9

This last week in the NFL saw some big games but no huge surprises, besides the fact that Adrian Peterson ran over the Chargers defense for an NFL record 296 yards. The Patriots beat the Colts in the battle of the undefeated, but did not cover the spread. The Saints are charging back winning their fourth in a row after losing their first four, the Browns continue to surprise people with another victory, and Dallas and Green Bay both won to move to 7-1 for the season.

The highest payout percentage last week against the spread was for the home dogs going 4-1 for a payout percentage of 80%. The next highest payout percentage was for the home teams going 11-3 for a payout percentage of 78.57%. The third highest payout percentage was for the home favorites going 7-2 for a payout percentage of 77.78%. Home field advantage was truly the case last weekend as every home category was over 77%. The other payout percentage over 50% last week was for the favorites going 8-6 for a payout percentage of 57.14%. It was a high scoring weekend in the NFL last week as there were only 4 Under games and 9 Over games, which had a payout percentage of 69.23%.

For the season the highest payout percentage is for the home dogs, as they have gone 25-19 for a payout percentage of 56.82%.
